Tricks Class

Amaze your friends and family with how smart your dog really is. Learn how to teach a variety of tricks in a fun setting. You and your dog will build a foundation of focus that will help keep your dog mentally stimulated and motivate him/her to want to listen and learn many new things.

Duration: 1 hour per class
Price: $97.50 for the course
Instructor: Debbie Bickford, one of Chicago's premier dog trainers.

Ages: 5 months and older
Prerequisite: Must have passed at least our Polite Puppy or Good Manners 1 course (or basic obedience training with a reputable trainer), or have come here for other classes such as Good Manners 2, agility, leash manners, etc.

Maximum class size: 8.
What to bring: A 6-foot leash (flexileads are not recommended) and favorite treats. A treat bag is recommended. Prong collars, choke chains, shock collars, or other similar devices are not allowed in class. Harnesses are allowed.
Positive reinforcement only: As with all training classes at Tucker Pup's, this class uses only positive reinforcement techniques such as treats and praise. We do not use shock collars or dominance methods to achieve success.
