Many dogs show signs of aggression, ranging from moderate to extreme. For example, some dogs lose control while on leash, warning people and dogs who walk nearby to stay away. Others growl or bite at their owner who get too close to their food. Others have a hard time playing at the dog park and miss out on all the fun. When these types of behavior occur, most owners don't know why they happen or what to do about them. This seminar is helps people build this understanding and offers many useful suggestions for managing aggression. Some people attend whose dog exhibits aggression, while others attend because they want to stave it off before it occurs. In any case, it is extremely informative and you will come away with some strategies to help minimize and possibly eliminate it. Please keep in mind that, given the nature of the topic, there are no dogs present in class - only people. In addition, the course is not guaranteed to curb aggression because it can be very deeply rooted and require multiple techniques over time. However, it is a great way to start learning the basics of aggression and can be extremely helpful to many people. Course details:
