Polite Puppy


For puppies under 5 months old. Covers all the basics for properly handling a full range or behaviors you may experience, plus off-leash socialization skills.

Good Manners 1


For dogs 5 months and older with little or no training experience, or who have taken training in the past and need to brush up. Covers all the basics for properly handling a full range or behaviors you may experience.

Good Manners 2 / C.L.A.S.S. Fundamentals


Advanced training for dogs who have gone through basic obedience, either via our Polite Puppy or Good Manners 1 course, or taking training elsewhere.

Intro to Agility


For dogs who are good at the basics and now want to expand their horizons into the world of agility. This is an excellent way to have fun with your dog while sharpening listening skills.

Outdoor Adventure


Set in the great outdoors, this course is for dogs who need help with distractions in a real-world setting. Dogs must have gone through at least a puppy or basic obedience course at Tucker Pup's or with a reputable trainer to be eligible for this course; it is not meant to be for beginners.

Leash Manners (3 weeks)


This is a 3-week mini course that focuses strictly on leash manners, including walking at your side without pulling, passing by distractions, and eliminating lunging. Unlike Outdoor Adventure, which occurs outside, the Leash Manners course is indoors at our facility. This can be better for dogs who are learning how to walk politely on leash and would be too distracted outside.

Tricks 3-Week Mini Course


Amaze your friends and family with how smart your dog really is. Learn how to teach a variety of tricks in a fun setting. You and your dog will build a foundation of focus that will help keep your dog mentally stimulated and motivate him/her to want to listen and learn many new things.

Agility 2


For dogs who have gone through an intro to agility course and want to keep honing their skills while adding speed and difficulty.

Aggression Seminar


This is a two-hour seminar for dog owners to help understand why their dog may act aggressively and what are some key steps they can take to address it. This seminar is for people only - no dogs are present.

Intro to Freestyle Dance


This course teaches the basics of canine freestyle dance, where your dog learns to "dance" with you by following your commands. It is perfect for reinforcing commands and improving listening while teaching your dog some new and exciting tricks. Human dancing skills are not necessarily required!

Preparing for the Holidays - 3 Week Mini Course


The holidays are coming. Can your dog be around your guests? Does he jump on people? Beg for food? Can he be around kids? Does he surf the counters looking for food? Run through doorways? Will you have to sequester him to another room and have him miss out on the fun? This three-week course helps your dog with these issues and more.

For dogs to become officially certified by the American Kennel Club as having basic good manners at home and in the community.

Come, Sit, Stay, PLAY!


This course is for dogs who may listen on leash, but ignores you when off leash. Have fun letting your dog socialize off leash in a controlled environment while learning how to develop the ability to call your dog off of play, cue emergency sits and downs, and have your dog listen to you.

Fun Class Series: Beginner's Treibball


In treibball, your dog uses his nose or shoulders to drive eight balls into a goal within 15 minutes.

It takes thinking, communication and coordination of the team to get the driving done, and all those balls in the goal.

Fun Class Series: Beginner's Nosework / Rally Obedience



Nosework:
K9 Nose Work is the specific sport created and sanctioned by the National Association of Canine Scent Work (NACSW). This sport was inspired by the training methodology of detection K9s and borrows elements of that training for recreation. The terms nose work, fun nose work, scent work, search work are all commonly used references to describe any activity where the dog is using its nose to locate a target scent or odor. K9 Nose Work is the term that defines this detection inspired sport that has evolved from the pursuit of many dogs (with their handlers) to practice nose work and have fun.


Rally Obedience
Rally Obedience is a sport where you and your dog walk up to various stations, you read a sign instructing you on what to do, and you must successfully follow that instruction with your dog in order to advance. A sample instruction is "Have your dog walk around you in a complete circle" or "Your dog must lie down for 30 seconds."

Fun Class Series: Beginner's Agility Workshop


This is a one-night beginner's workshop to try out your dog in agility. In agility, your dog will go over the jumps, through the tunnel, over the teeter-totter, over the A-frame, and on the pause table. As a part of our Fun Class Series, you can either pay for just one class, or prepay for six fun classes of your choice and save money.
