I've taken my dog, Maggie to several groomers in the city. After trying Tucker Pup's I will never go back to the others. The groomers were great with Maggie, and the longest it would take is an hour and half. The others she would be tied up on a shelf for several hours. My sister referred me to Tucker Pup's and she was also happy with them.

My Golden Retriever had been staying with my mother for 3 months and his coat showed the lack of brushing. I took him to Tucker's Pup's for grooming and they were able to get out the thick undercoat that was shedding an incredible amount! Great job, he looks better and not at much hair is shedding now!

Henry's spring puppy-cut is adorable. Thanks to Tina for doing it even though I know she was a bit hesitant about taking him so short all over. It helps get the winter fluff off and makes brushing his coat easier on his momma - LOL!
I promise I'll bring him back in the Fall for a proper cut. :-)
If he continues to be noisy at play, tell him to quiet down. He is so quiet at home and at the park, so this perplexes me. Always make him behave when he is in your care.

Everything went great for our first grooming appointment. Stella's cut was nice and it was great to have her back in less than 1.5 hours. Thanks we will schedule her next grooming appointment in about 6 to 8 weeks.

I was very glad to see that Basil was happy and playful immediately when I picked her up. She is often withdrawn and anxious after grooming, so this was a pleasant surprise. In the past, at other groomers, I have been told not to bring her back because she was too difficult to handle. On one occasion, I was even called to pick her up in the middle of the grooming because they said she was too difficult to finish. Your staff was very nice to me and only said nice things about working with Basil.

Please tell the groomer what a great job she did with Louise. When John and I opened the door Friday evening - literally we stood there with our mouths wide open. Louise's head and beard have never, ever looked so beautiful. Although it was trimmed, it looked so natural we were in awe. That is truly an art and cannot be learned simply by teaching. She received the best groom of her life. I am so excited to finally have a groomer (after three previous) who knows how to groom a Havanese!

Love, love, love the haircut! It was by far the best haircut she has ever had! Upon meeting Joanna, she genuinely embraced Cucciolina. I know it's not just my dog, but you could tell that she cares for dogs in general. That's a great quality to have and I like that about her. I love my dog's haircut and the groomer! I hope she stays with Tucker Pup's!

This is the third time that I have had Psycho groomed by your 'new' groomer Joanna (who is not so new anymore!) and she has done a great job each and every time. I always drop him off with complete confidence in her abilities and appreciate more than I can say the prompt grooming on a schedule. It is so much better for him and for me to be able to drop him off for a one hour appointment rather than a half day to full day ordeal.

I was very pleased with Aimee's first grooming at Tucker Pup's. Joanna did a good job and Aimee was cut according to what a Bichon should look like. She was efficient and Aimee was done in one hour and one-half, which is a record.

The experience today, was as always just great. The girls look great and let me tell you, the neighbors think so too. The doorman in my building insisted on taking a picture.
But most of all, the girls love going there and that speaks volumes to me. And, your staff has always been fabulous to me and so very flexible and accommodating. I have no other remarks but to sing your praises to everyone who asks.

Tucker Pup's owner and staff are by far the best I have yet to experience with my dog. I am a first-time dog owner; that being said, there are a few things that need to be explained to me in a little more detail. They were kind and educated enough to help me understand the proper way to groom and maintain my dog. They were able to correct another groomer's mistake and now my dog is looking like a handsome boy again. Thank you so much for the time and consideration taken with myself and my dog Buster.

We finally found a groomer!!! Joanna at Tucker Pup's was amazing with my dog! I adopted my puppy in May 2010. I've had a difficult time finding a groomer he feels comfortable with. His first groomer told me he wouldn't sit still so all she could do was bathe him. His second groomer just shaved him because he wouldn't sit still. He's a puppy. Name me a dog/puppy that likes to be groomed. His last groomer (also in the West Loop) not only 'asked him not to return' she then charged me $125. Outrageous! My dog is a Shih Tzu mix and weighs 16lbs. She said he wouldn't make eye contact with her. I told Joanna about his past grooming experiences and she assured me she wouldn't reject him. I dropped him off and in less than 2 hours her assistant called me to pick him up! He was trimmed, clean and most of all....happy! Joanna said she wasn't sure what the other groomers were talking about but he was a good boy. He was crazy about his front legs being brushed but that was it. Tucker Pup's was very professional over the phone and confirmed my appointment via email. I will gladly return and I highly recommend Tucker Pup's!

I\'ve brought my small pup here 4 or 5 times now for grooming and daycare. Every time he comes back cute as a button and happy as can be! I loveee the daycare feature they offer as I can drop him off on my lunch break and pick him up again after I get off work. I don\'t plan on taking my little man anywhere else any time soon!
